Hey could if it was a U.S. keeper in goal
Yet we’ve literally seen this happen in all sorts of places.
Teams have done half time, pre season and open training games with fans where they get to take a shot against the (usually backup) keeper. They’ve scored.
Soccer AM had a spell where the “car park game” had a goalkeeper from a youth team (usually around 18-21 years old) in goal and regular fans would score against them.
YouTubers have had goalkeepers on their channels before, both retired and active and scored past them with penalties and free kicks.
And yes, that might not be against the best of the best, but Steffan and Turner are certainly far from that too.
Could they do it in a match setting? Whole different question. But of all the ways the average person has a chance to score in that setting the only one where the chance is less than 0.001% is a penalty.
