Well actually Javier came from a the most popular Mexican club in Mexico so you cant say he cam from nothing mr "Dempsey", sir.
Who says we cant criticize AND enjoy the beautiful game of Football?
Not saying Clint is a bad player but he isnt impressive.
I admire your honesty
My good friend javier is very talented, this is true
But what we both have in common is we came from almost nothing
We never doubted we wouldn't reach our dreams
So instead of criticzing how about we just get along and play the wonderful game of soccer
Clint
USA, want to win some games?
Heres your team:
Jozy Altidore, Herculez Gomez, Clint Dempsey, Landon Donovan, Tim Howard, Carlos Bocanegra, Bradley, Shea toss in some young MLS guys, then lets these guys get some practice together so that they learn to work together AS A TEAM and eventually they will be a success.
This past game against Jamaica was unacceptable.
Dempsey is WAY over rated, he is the American version of Chicharito Hernandez.
Americans have this view of thinking that because a player plays in a good Euro club that makes them a great player!
dempsey is not bad….the issue with him is that you want him in the mix to get that scrappy deflection goal off of a free kick…other than that, i con't think of anyone….donovan is "ok"…..
We need stuuuuuuuu!!!!!
…dempsey and other cutting-wings need a stu holden that can service to the box on a world-class level
If you're talking about age…than why Donovan and Onyewu? If anything, Bocanegra and Cherundolo, they're both 33.
My dream team for USA is:
Altidore; Donovan, Dempsey, Bradley, Jones, Beckerman; Johnson, Bocanegra, Cameron, Cherundolo; Howard
Wondolowki didn't play 🙁 btw can't wait to see Holden play again
The US should be comfortably beating all of these teams if we truly want to become top country. Sad that we can fill up stadiums that top the populations of these countries, but we can't play well against them.
they suck
I meant 3-4 years of playing talent left. Yes, call in Brad Davis, Chris Wondolowski, and Tim Ream!
Landon Donovan, why are you playing like a 45 year old?! You still have at least 3-4 of playing talent left. 🙁
I wanna see josh gatt when it comes to the younger guys
That's what I've been saying Cameron has the potential to be a starter give him a shot.
Dempsey can hit free kicks!! He scored two in the EPL last season. Why he didn't take them last night I have no clue!
hey greg…. about the free kick issue… US does have one… remember Stuart Holden??
