I genuinely think. He’s the best ever Premier League player. He ticks all boxes. Longevity, titles, big game player, all the ability in the world, versatile and world class in multiple positions, sacrificed himself for multiple players.
Imagine if Rooney stayed as a CF his whole career, he would easily be the premiere league top goal scorer of all time.

I see a lot of commenters comparing Rooney and Saurez. Although, they had a similar game by dropping deep and influencing play. They were not the same type of modern striker. Rooney was the complete footballer that any team (and I mean every team) would want in their team today. His ability to score goals from anywhere, desire to win, dogged aggression, are second to none. If needed he could drop into midfield and be an auxiliary no. 6.
