In football then taking a corner or a goal kick the ball doesn’t have to be on the line or the arch. When you look down on the ball it has to look like some part of it is on the line. They are the rules in the uk anyway
3:33 how would he be offside with number 3 back there
3.33 offside
Don't get the goalies red card in the CLB v CHI game tho, wasn't DOGSO and wasnt that much danger to the player in my opinion
The 8 sec pen in the CLB vs CHI game shouldnt have been, the ball was going out of play and the touch by the gk didnt affect his shot or his chances to get the ball
Don't really watch the MLS but judging on the quality of this short video the standard of refereeing is absolutely dreadful. How are they missing so many clear yellow or red card offences ?
The dive in Columbus was almost as bad as the room
The Gerrard's goal would/ should stand, at 3:30, because the player lying down isn't offside. The no. 3 is standing there…
3:30 how is he offsides there is a defender behind the goalie
Simon called NYCFC red bulls
And 5:32 why does the green guy grab his left leg he clearly sold the foul
Thank go he isn't actually the ref cause his games would end 8v8 and with 6 penalties. He has either never played or has forgot what it is like to play.
omg this commentator alone is so trash lmao how did larin deseve a red!>!!?!??!!?!!?
No offense but your way of seeing it is delusional some things you say about the calls just confuse me because that is not even close to how it looks
i am an oc fan but i think Larin just deserved a yellow
4:27 right in the booty
The ball was correctly placed on the corner kick, it does not need to touch the arc.
I hate that he says it wasn't a hand ball but a ball to hand. there are hardly any times when a player intentionally touches the ball with their hands. the ball strikes them in the hand when they are trying to do something. ball to hand is always a penalty unless your arm/hand is by your side. I also don't like that this guy wants a red card for everything. it would make the mls like liga mx which is a joke in officiating. red cards every 10 minutes. let the play continue and use your yellow cards if needed and talk to the team captains to give warnings. don't just go straight for the red all the time
5:05 the ball does not need to be touching the line, it just needs to have some of its circumference on or over the line
That nut shot though. Sorry, CJ. Rough day for you.
On Gerard's "red card" Bernardez's shoe was off to make it worse
Cocaine is a hell of a drug
The guy for the Galaxy who was tripped in the 80th minute was not offsides since there was an Earthquakes defender in front of him.
Crew goal was off because of his arms
This commentator wants red for everything.
Okay I'm a red bulls fan but larons red card was shit
In a earlier video Simon Borg said that "accident can lead to read cards." He referred to a tackle by RJ Allen of NYCFC, which was identical to this one. He said the Allen tackle deserved red, but then he changes his opinion when talking about Steven Gerrard. Why is this play any different?
This Shit is stupid Jason Johnson did not deserve a second yellow he was clearly bumped
If all the stuff, would go his way every game would end up being 9 players left on each team. He is to quick to go for a serious actions
How about playing the ball on the ground at 5:14?
So what I gathered from this that having elbows=red card every time
I know it is bad of me but the kick to the B^lls made me laugh.
Ball doesn't have to touch the line, if part of the ball is still over the line, it's legal. Hard to tell from that angle regarding the corner kick. Same as if a ball is going out of bounds, it isn't out until the whole of the ball has crossed the outer edge of the boundary line, touching or not.
Simon Borg never played football that's why I discredit all his videos
Just because Larin's tackle could have injured the player doesn't mean he deserves a red card. Refs cant give out cards for tackles that could be dangerous but don't make contact. I don't see how anyone can think a ref can judge tackles this way.
This guy doesn't know what he's talking about. Smh
Mannnn, the MLS are a pussy league
