  1. In football then taking a corner or a goal kick the ball doesn’t have to be on the line or the arch. When you look down on the ball it has to look like some part of it is on the line. They are the rules in the uk anyway

  2. The 8 sec pen in the CLB vs CHI game shouldnt have been, the ball was going out of play and the touch by the gk didnt affect his shot or his chances to get the ball

  3. Don't really watch the MLS but judging on the quality of this short video the standard of refereeing is absolutely dreadful. How are they missing so many clear yellow or red card offences ?

  4. I hate that he says it wasn't a hand ball but a ball to hand. there are hardly any times when a player intentionally touches the ball with their hands. the ball strikes them in the hand when they are trying to do something. ball to hand is always a penalty unless your arm/hand is by your side. I also don't like that this guy wants a red card for everything. it would make the mls like liga mx which is a joke in officiating. red cards every 10 minutes. let the play continue and use your yellow cards if needed and talk to the team captains to give warnings. don't just go straight for the red all the time

  5. In a earlier video Simon Borg said that "accident can lead to read cards." He referred to a tackle by RJ Allen of NYCFC, which was identical to this one. He said the Allen tackle deserved red, but then he changes his opinion when talking about Steven Gerrard. Why is this play any different?

  6. Ball doesn't have to touch the line, if part of the ball is still over the line, it's legal. Hard to tell from that angle regarding the corner kick. Same as if a ball is going out of bounds, it isn't out until the whole of the ball has crossed the outer edge of the boundary line, touching or not.

  7. Just because Larin's tackle could have injured the player doesn't mean he deserves a red card. Refs cant give out cards for tackles that could be dangerous but don't make contact. I don't see how anyone can think a ref can judge tackles this way.
