Roma were fully focused on winning the Europa League which would obviously grant them a spot in the Champions League. Honestly though this is the standard performance for almost every English referee, they are just so bad at what they do, even with VAR they still bottle a huge percentage of the games
Mourinho could have maintained a good goal lead like 2 – 0 or 3 – 1 so that it would be hard for Sevilla to win them but unfortunately he couldn't and Roma despite leading 1 – 0 Sevilla equalized with an own goal meaning that Roma were under pressure 😂. Then here come the penalties which favoured Sevilla mainly because ot the type of goalkeeper they got who made fantastic saves
