  1. Did you know the initial call on the field in Vancouver was not a handball? Please explain how you know for certain it hit the hand and not the body of the defender. Because the defender whose chest the ball bounced off didn't react like it hit Fafa's hand before. You're saying there is no way there was space between the ball and Fafa's hand in that freeze frame? You can see Fafa's hand behind the defender's back in the next frame like he got it out of the way. The arm doesn't bounce like it was hit. The ball took a deflection a few yards away, even if it grazed Fafa's fingertips as it hit the defender, the play was not impacted. I just don't see how he could take that goal off the board over a maybe.

Regarding the other call in VC, a player's shoulders are never parallel with the body when reaching back to shoot. A defender can't tackle from behind just because a player turns their shoulders to shoot the ball. The way everyone is brushing it off, are they even going to use it as a training moment to better the rules?

This was demoralizing for players and fans.

  2. According to IFAB the handball goal should have counted because the player who scored was not the same one who handled the ball. The officials must have decided that he made his body unnaturally bigger, or intentionally handled the ball and disallowed the goal for one of those reasons.

  3. It was definitely a red card on aviles but it is what it is we move on. The people saying mls wants Messi to win is hilarious like the bum mls is some hard league to play in or win foh 😂

  4. 3:02 You're misreading this. The clause only apples to the player whose hand/arm the ball has touched. That said, this decision is fine, since the arm is making the teammate's body unnaturally bigger anyway.

  5. Inter Messi getting calls in their favor. We all know Garber and Miami are one. Going to be this way all season. No other excuse for it not being a red. Ridiculous. Doesn’t matter what the freaking score is or when it happened. New York are lucky their DP isn’t retiring after this game

  6. I swear the new labor agreement with PRO has a clause that MLS creators are forbidden to say anything disagreeing with the decisions made during the match.

  7. There was a clear Red card for Ruznak in the seattle vs LA Galaxy game. He didnt even get a yellow card nor it was reviewed. I couldn't believe it. And then, it wasn't even mentioned here. Weibe, you are dropping the ball.

  8. The thing about the No-call in Vancouver is that Fafa sucks. A good player might’ve been able to get that ball and turn for a shot, but he couldn’t.

  9. That has to be a red card for the Miami player. Forsberg is very lucky he didn’t get a season ending injury from that horrendous tackle.

  10. Look it doesn't matter if players aren't protesting a yellow. That miami player left the ground with two feet, got nowhere NEAR the ball, and almost tore that guys ACL. That is the DEFINITION of a red card and that player should be suspended for more games as well. Why would Miami protest the call. I have never seen players rush to the referee to protest a card until AFTER it was shown. It also looks like Tori Penso was hesitant to pull out the card in the first place. MLS wants their big ticket games like Miami in the East and LAFC in the west to win. It is becoming more and more blatant. The favoritism the refs are showing has to stop. The dicsiplinary committee has to take action against these egregious fouls.
