So Abby Wambach isn't perfect, what Soccer player (man or woman) is PERFECT? Yes, SOCCER not Futbol. 🙂 Europeans and Latin America need not get so hot and bothered because we Americans call the game SOCCER. 🙂 You don't want to know what we call "Cricket" lol.
It would have been an unstoppable shot had it been on frame. It's a shame. I so wanted her to tie Marta's World Cup goal total. I hope she does. The way the US is playing, it's fortunate they won't be playing anyone threatening until the semi-final. And who knows, their defense may get them to penalty kicks, but they'd better bury those penalties if it comes down to that. Oh, and go France! LOL!
