I am inherently against these comparisons between Vini, Mbappe, and etc, when it comes to Real Madrid. This is a team. It’s not Vini’s or Mbappe’s team. It’s a team of individual talents who are working towards a goal. Creating this competition has diminished the collective spirit we have seen in RM. Give these guys a break. You don’t hear anybody say, this is Haaland’s team or Yamine’s team. Why create this unnecessary competition in a team sport?

Mbappe only wants to score as much as possible and everyone else should work for him non stop. Vinicius can and does do that but he can’t be a simp for Mbappe.
The Ballon D’Or drama did a number on Vini’s mental health.
Yes, footballers’ egos and competition might result in some jealousy however, Vini was well acquainted with Mbappe prior joking the club. He was the one who was consistently advising him to join Real Madrid. So, it is a bit of a stretch to say Vini’s bad performance is due to Mbappe.
The contract, salary, image rights negotiations is more likely also playing a role on his mental health on top of the Ballon D’Or. Or it honestly might be nothing because footballers performance fluctuates (not everyone is Messi and CR7 during their prime) and the injuries and the number of games in a season these players are playing also doesn’t help.
There's no power struggle in real Madrid vini Jr Was distracted by fame, Ballon d'or and Mbappe coming to Madrid and vini jr doesn't know how to play with Mbappe but he really wants it to work so bad he keeps on making mistakes now even Mbappe is not playing vini Jr loses the form he was.

No, Real Madrid has been chasing Mbappe since his teen years. Not two years. When he was at Monaco, Monaco had an agreement with Real Madrid for 180m euros and he refused. Also Mbappe did and he is still trying to accommodate Vini. Part of the reason he started slow was this. You see that mbappe made only 5 assists. He actually passed the ball many times but they did not score. I do remember the time when he passed the ball to Vini who missed and Modric told off Mbappe saying you have to shoot. That was not at the beginning of the season.
Just let him sign the contract
