  1. The commentators in Romania said before the start of the game the bringing these ref's could've been avoided for a CL semifinal, so they kind of expected this guy to be trash or not fair.

  2. In my opinion, the hand was a prejudice to the PSG team more than anything else.
The rule probably don't make a difference but that ball was meant to end up somewhere midfield. Instead it ended up in the box, where a few bayern players could have beneficiated from it.

Ok, hands are hands. But saying "i really don't see the difference between both situation" feels a bit dishonest.
It would be like asking for a handball after that defenser's hand had deflcted your shot inside the goal.

Now I'm not sure what other situations were unfair to Bayern. Any exemples people ?

  3. Classy response from Kompany. He’s right when he says there appeared to be a hand tilting the game away from us. Most of the calls went against Bayern. I can’t think of one questionable call that went in their favour. I want to be clear, that I have no bias here, and I think PSG were maybe ever so slightly the better team over two legs (51-49). They defended like they were protecting their first born child in the second leg and used the counter to remain dangerous and keep Bayern on their toes for sure. Let’s call it what it is though, Bayern, overall were blunt on the night. They were missing that little bit of clinical finishing that had been with them most of the season. Their big players didn’t have that final pass, touch, shot or whatever that they needed.
I have several major officiating questions about the tie in general. In the first leg the shot that lead to the corner was ruled to have come off a Bayern player (which it didn’t). What happens? Neves scores off the ensuing corner. In the time it takes to walk over to the corner flag and setup the play (30-60 seconds in most cases) why couldn’t VAR review it like with the quick offside decisions? Next the handball against Davies clearly comes off his body(leg) first so the way I see it, you cannot call that a penalty according to the rules. In the second leg how can Mendes not get a second yellow-red card for his handling of the ball? The ref was reaching for it, then clearly decided against it once he realized, I’ve already given him one. Then the excuse from Uefa afterwards is that Laimer handled the ball first? Then why was the ref about to give him a card only to change his mind? The Joao Neves hand ball is exactly that, a handball. I understand what the rulebook says, that doesn’t mean I agree with the definition of a handball. I don’t care if a defender, attacker, or monkey kicks the ball, a hand away from the body touching the ball anywhere on the pitch should be a handball.
Congrats to PSG but to lose the way Bayern lost isn’t fair and Uefa must review this game specifically and learn from it moving forward. It’s a tough pill to swallow for Kompany and his team this time around.

  4. Bayern played horrible and is now blaming the ref. They should learn how to defend. That's a disgrace. Look at the 0-1 in the 2nd leg. Horrible mistake.

Penalty in the first leg – shot was going in the direction of the goal. If the ball would not have hit the body, it would have hit only the hand. Look on the replay. That's why this is a penalty (even though I would have preferred if not)

Not given penalty in the 2nd leg. No football fan wants to see a penalty given in such a situation. The ball is kicked out of the box in direction of the other goal. The hand play is keeping the ball of flying far out of the box. So the hand actually helps Bayern and not PSG.

  5. With Kompany, Bayern looks like an argentine team, crying all game long to the referee, simply forgetting to show strenght at home and play the football they know. Really sad to see they totally lost their Dna, even sadder to see them ignoring it,.blaming the referee for no reason, PSG is stronger in every aspect of the game.

  6. Karena ada hanky panky mr Kompany money talks..!!!! anda sudah berbuat baik terhadap club tapi wasit merampok nya.😢

  7. many fase was call off.. Kane offside..Luis diaz yellow card.. Laimer handball..😂 wtf There is no VAR in this game.

  8. It Is really unfair. What is happening in Europe with the referee in these crucial situations. Semifinals feel like playing but referees. And it is really bad not reporters are saying anything in these situations. It is like aaaaa is PSG and that hand feels supportive for PSG.

  9. This reminds me of the final F1 race where they choose to take the title from Hamilton and give it to Verstappen. They really are gangsters. No shame at all.😂

  10. anyone who knows football knew PSG would go through.it's all attack or defending.PSG can play so many formations.
as I predicted last week,I said that we would score early, quieten the crowd.then both Bayern and their fans would become nervous, Not knowing if they'd had to go all out or trying to stay in the game as long as possible they got stuck in between.🇫🇷

  11. Neves actually had 2 hand balls. It’s a bit frustrating because some players put their hands behind their back to avoid this.
Some don’t and it’s deemed natural – natural is subjective.
    VAR don’t do their job

  12. Kompany is 100% correct. I personally don't like when managers complain about the refs because most of the time it makes them look like sore loser, but this is not the case. I personally like PSG and Luis Enrique, but they did not win fair and square.

  13. To quote the precise regulation in question, IFAB Law 12, it states: “A handball offense is not committed when a player is hit on the hand/arm by a ball which has been played by a teammate (unless the ball goes directly into the opponents’ goal or the player scores immediately afterwards, in which case a direct free kick is awarded to the other team).” Keep crying…..

  14. He didn't understand the "handball" foul. He needs to go back to the rules and learn it. And it's not a red card because his player was fouled first, and yes it's a handball foul. Cry harder!

  15. Very simple to solve. Boycott ALL matches. Don’t buy tickets, don’t go to the stadiums, don’t watch the matches on tv. Let them feel it in their accounts until they get officiating right. That was clear robbery last night.

  16. No preferential treatment from the referee: Laimer's handball, then Nuno's, so since he can't call Nuno's handball, he has to go back to the foul.

Neves' handball: a teammate's clearance, so the rules clearly state no goal action; it's a clearance action obstructed by a teammate's hand = no penalty.
