The International Football Association Board (IFAB), MLS, and the Professional Referee Organization (PRO) are conducting Video Assistant Referee (VAR) tests this summer in USL. Get a behind the scenes look as the VAR was tested during a recent Red Bulls II match.

Is Eprosoke Training Program helpful to increase your soccer game? I have learn many good stuff about this popular training program.
The VAR should be reviewing the game and all the major instances of the game as they happen. As of when an incident occurs they should make the decision no need for the referee to go and watch a replay on a tv screen
Does Eprosoke Training Program really work? I notice many people keep on talking about Eprosoke Training Program. But I'm uncertain if it is good enough to increase your soccer technique.
im totally against modern football, technology should stay away from football game
simulation
Controversy is a part of Football, that makes people always talk about.
I feel the center should need to come review it and should just use his headset for the VAR(s) to tell him what to do
Football Association of Malaysia will take the initiative to use VAR..still under development but will not take too long..
FANTASTIC
We don't welcome it.
I think the best way to increase the efficiency of this review is to NOT have the Referee run over to the sidelines. Just have the VAR tell him the correction from the booth.
after seeing this usl is finished a joke football league of the world
Why don't they do it similar to Rugby? Where the video replay is shown on the Screen.
Thinking that this will be implemented in football(soccer) is just absurd. Personally, this is just waste of precious time for the ref to keep on going out of the field to check out the replay. Just leave the game the way it is, it's perfect.
I think this is a method not even the BPL or la Liga will ever use in their games.
They were so concerned with wether they could, they didn't think about wether they should
That's gay as fuck
Takes WAAAAYYYYYYYY too long, just have the 4th official be in control of the video and making that call. Don't have the center ref run all the way to the computers to make a call anyone could spot. Otherwise, it completely throws off the flow of the game
They should do it more like rugby where there's another referee watching the replays and can provide advice to the referee.
its good but it should only stay in the U.S i dont want this in the uefa champions league
Can the MLS borrow these refs??
They should have a fifth ref that's job is to watch the game from the monitors, and quickly makes the decision instead of having the main ref come off, just to make it quick. Then, it should be fine.
Takes too long. We're not the NFL.
Honestly, they should just add a fifth and sixth referee for each of the goals on the pitch. Just have them stand next to them, they can tell if it crossed the goal line, handball in the box etc… The instant replay taken from basketball just makes the game slower and drags it out. Part of the reason why football is great to watch is because its 90 minutes of continuous action.
I like it but I don't like it.
Make it faster and it will be great. It takes too much time right now. But still on the right path.
its not good for the MLS, maybe good because it is used to catch cheats and make correct decisions. But when the USA goes to international matches, only goal line technology is available. so hopfully they dont get too used to it, it doesnt happen in international football
DO NOT PUT IN VIDEO REPLAYS, this is an American concept and only amber can sports do. It takes away from flow of the game, all they need are more consistent refs, this will ruin it.
Bring it out on a drone. The video that is. Have the ref wear a tracking band which the drone can come out to and hover when necessary. Have the I pad come down on an "arm" (for safety measures do not want the drone so close). Someone make it happen.
Don't know how to feel about this. Yea its good but its gona take away from the flow of the games.
Glad to see this being implemented, I feel like this should've been something available a long time ago.
