It funny like English fans always confuse confidence with arrogance . All this talk how premier league is superior bla bla . But in reality the Premier League is a great product , the wealthiest league in the world with least financial restrictions ( look how many teams are foreign owned ), it is the most competitive ( and my opinion best to watch ) , because there is so many teams that are very close on points . But at the very top I say it every year , it does not translate to any statistical data supported superiority in Europe. Spain is more successful in champions and Germany , Italy , France are at the same level . This year though , top PL clubs got humiliated .
