  1. The one I disagree with is the one on Burn. Schafflberg already missed the ball and I don't see him recovering to get it. I don't think it's a PK because there was no goal chance.

  2. Charlotte FC continuously gets screwed over time and time again at home. It feels like our competition isn’t just the opposition we face but also the referees assigned for the match. VAR is there for a reason, and it’s a resource that should be used. A ref shouldn’t have determined the outcome of that match against Nashville.
In the moment, it seems like an obvious penalty, but rather than just bang the play out in the final closing minutes of the match, they should’ve used VAR to determine that the ruling on the field was no penalty. In short, there was a 50/50 ball in the box, the attacker had no possession, and Byrne slipped but made minimal contact and attempted to reduce the contact as much as possible. The overplayer overexaggerated the play.
I also want to make it clear (without making direct accusations) that before the half, Hany Mukhtar and another one of Nashville’s players spoke to the main ref, and the whole second half, more calls went in their favor, and no one could have played Mukhtar on the ball without getting a foul or him getting a call in his favor. I have no concrete evidence they persuaded the refs, but it seemed odd that the refs had favoritism for Nashville instead of officiating fairly.

  3. Once again, these are NOT the "…most controversial plays…". With EVERY game being streamed, you oughta have 1 minute from each match on here. If it's a big enough "controversial call", then expand on that and drop another match that may not have had much to work with. I'm sure there's enough people in your office and every match being watched that people can take a quick note of "23', bad foul, no card…" or whatever. This current format is just so geared towards the bigger clubs.

  4. Instant Replay once again proving their inability to accurately dive into calls across the leauge, or outright ignoring them. Atleast with Unkel on the show she'd provide a valuable counter-point to some of the baseless comments being dropped by the others.

  5. Is this the same channel that used to be hosted by Wiebe and paid for by Cheez Its?

I stopped watching because that host's ignorance was only matched by how insufferable he was. Is this guy any better?

  6. Horrible officiating in the STL SKC match. Ref is in over his head and needs more time officiating slower paced matches. Maybe he had a bad game, but it appears as though it's beyond his skill set.

  7. Ngl it's absolutely wild that someone can be on the payroll of MLS while lacking the ability to pronounce the names of some of the biggest players in the league.

  8. Luis Araujo should not have been sent off. Barely a foul not worthy of a yellow. Other tackles in this game that were way worse and either no foul/or no card was given. MLS refs are so bad it’s actually embarrassing

  9. How can you avoid talking about the incredible decision at the 92 minutes in New-York!! Wow! What a miss for your show!! Red card to you!!

  10. I thought you could be carded for embellishment. I don’t understand how they tell us that and then Chicharito is allowed to flop like that, and then get upset with the refs. Yellow for performance not an award for performance.

  11. There was a good discussion on if the Navarro 2nd yellow was actually reviewable. Mistaken identity as used thus far is about giving a yellow or red to someone you didn’t mean too. He meant to give the yellow to Fede. It’s a bad call and bad calls aren’t reviewable.

  12. Defenders have to know to avoid contact from behind in the box. The appearance of enough contact from that position makes the ref have to decide to give a pen or not. So, don't do it.
