As an RSL fan, that scoreline didn’t reflect the game. Vancouver was a much better team than we were, even before some of the firepower came off
The bench. As much as I hate losing, I am happy for the Vancouver fans, it’s been rough for a while and this year they are contenders. As for why the stands are not full. The team needs to do this consistently over a few years to get the community involved and build that culture. One excellent season won’t be enough to build that following beyond the die hard fans that have been around for years at this point.
I'm a Cruz Azul fan, just checking out about the performance for the Whitecaps… I've to say, I'm surprised, this will not be an easy game for any of them, Cruz Azul has 16 games without loosing, playing as a compact team with a good defense, I can see Vancouver playing very similar against good teams like Miami or Monterrey, this will be a beautiful game… Cruz Azul trying to reach their Cup #7 and Vancouver making history for their first… Amazing… Good luck for both! 😄⚽
The Whitecaps are a team with a ton of confidence. I mean…that pace is incredible. Very good.

Who would of thought Vancouver would be the top team in the mls crazy scenes shows that if you have some determination and inspiration to win you can win with any team.
Going back to the MLS is the best decision Nelson could have taken. I think that instead of promotting Messi only, they should put young promizing players into the light too, and Nelson could be a reason for people abroad to watch MLS. Messi will not stay there forever.

The Caps have been playing so well even without Gauld that I'm starting to wonder how much he can even add to the team when he gets back, at least in MLS play. I just hope he doesn't mess up the chemistry as has happened with other squads playing above expectations in the past, cuz even as Loons fan it's fun watching this team click on the field. Nelson and Berhalter look like world-beaters out of absolutely nowhere (to name just a couple)
