VAR referees should have 10-20s to do a VAR check. If you can’t decide in that time. It is clearly not clear and obvious. The whole process of a VAR call should take one minute max, from original check to the head referee making the decision.

I'm looking MLS games first time this season. I must say the referees in this league are very bad, or they are against Canadian teams. The foul was more from the side, not from behind and he wasn't the last player. The first decision with the yellow card was right. Never red

I'm German and i'm here to watch Müller, but at 0:48 that sadly is a red card, because you can clearly see that he is "the last defender" and he used a foul to stop the stricker:
Getting a yellow card here is… LUCKY i would say. Had it happen to my team and saw it happen to others…. it's not "unfair" because it's only in minute 7… it's "unfair" that the player stopped the stricker with a foul, because we will never know what would've happen.

lmaooooooo if this is a playoff game i already called it. the playoff system in mls is dogwater. the league is terrible as it is because of it. teams can be terrible all season and still be rewarded with the cup. they can lose every single game and come back next season because no relegation makes it bad enough then the next season they lose alot and win a few and then get playoff rights and then win the cup against a team that went undefeated and truly deserves the cup because they are the best. worst league in the world and ive been watching mls for multiple decades. messi is going to face the same bs…because mls teams will do anything to win the playoffs and during the actual season they will play like sunday league because they know it doesnt matter.
We're getting all these comments about referees' decisions. Why have we got VAR? It's making no difference on subjective decisions. It just depends on the referee on the day. Just get on with the game!

Wow. Don't watch any MLS but red card in that beginning scene is wild. You can see clearly that in the middle another Vancouver defender is on the same hight of the field. Usually this is no red card.

Awful officiating.
Normally I’m fine with Chapman but this was terrible.
That’s NEVER DOGSO. He’s way too far out and wide AND there’s a defender just behind and one nearly in line with him. Never a red card, yellow for sure. Never a red.
Then Aboubakar absolutely cleans out Müller, knowing he’s on a yellow card and somehow the referee deems it no foul? It’s a clear yellow through the back of the legs and Muller’s reaction tells you all you need to know about the non call.
