The USA team is so unlikeable. They made it impossible for us to cheer for them when we blindly support American teams in international competition.

I was in Detroit after SummerSlam and tried to watch this match but I couldn't get up, and when I went to go eat breakfast, I turned on my phone and to see USA lose was a blessing but I was upset they lost. The problem was this was not the USA team we loved, it was a team that didn't seem to care for the country they play for, and the fact they didn't sing the national anthem was a tall tale sign we were in trouble, because after the win against Vietnam, it was clear as day this team isn't winning again. When Megan missed the penalty, laughing at your teams expense (while she didn't do that to them, it's what the viewers thought), it was proof that this was the beginning of the end. With Megan retired, I feel the rebuilding process will be a long journey, but time and the people that went against this team will return. Only one way to see is the 2024 games in Paris.

As an American I can proudly say I am proud of the US team. I don’t care what anyone says because we have one of the top women players in the world and just bc they didn’t honor their anthem doesn’t mean anything I doubt everyone in the us even does it and can say they are proud Americans. But Sweden I was cheering for all the way they have some amazing players as well that I have watched for a while now in clubs. Both teams played amazing
