Unsaid: Berhalter was a mannequin.
1. Wrong – coaches often are secondary to star players these days because the coaches are more transitory and it is more rare that the coach has more power these days. 2. Healing injuries can very well be the best thing for the USMNT. 3. The same thing would happen to European teams right now after their long difficult seasons.
Biggest issue is with or without Pulisic , the US will under perform.
There should be no “superstars” in the USMNT. ONE TEAM.
USSOCCER = 🤡’s
Your good feelings about Poch were misplaced, he hasn’t won anything
I dont like Pochetino as US soccer. You cant teach european soccer to an american team. Also it is the UNITED STATES national team. The rule should be the coach has to be from the same country. period.
All this talk about a minor league team. Please move, including the ones talking here on Fox. They never won any world cups. I only want to hear World Cup winners give their opinion.
Poch is a joke bleeding goals like spurs & chelsea and the retired USMNT members acting like a team that calls it 'soccer' can compete is beyond absurd … can't wait to watch actual competitive teams, which is not the USMNT. Manufactured Drama by a circus of an organization and it's current and retired members. Get over yourself USMNT, none of you have produced anything remotely noteworthy. Get good, start by calling the sport it's actual name, if you can't do that, the circus will die, no amount of imported European talent can fix that in your Major Laundering Scheme. Proceeding without your actual talent which competes in Europe makes no difference because the truth is USMNT cannot compete.
Pulisic will have the same type of long hard season next year, so he can take next summer off too
They became to spoiled under the last few coaches to the point where they knew they could do what they want and play when they want. It’s good that Poch is setting the record that he’s in charge and not the players. Now to get a group that actually wants to play and not just when they feel like it
Pulisic has no business being included in any future US squad. Not worth the drama.
Please everyone move on
I am not gonna work, but I will come in for free lunch. That is basically what Pulisic said.
If a US captain doesn't realize that there are only a limited number of games to get back on track for the WC after losing to Canada, Mexico, and Panama, that captain should not be captain. If a captain doesn't realize that his actions/inactions don't rub off positively or negatively on his teammates, he doesn't deserve to be captain–or even worse shouldn't even be on the team. If a US captain doesn't care that his coach–one of the best in the world–is counting on him to be the American Messi (i.e., be a leader), then he should never be called back for national duties no matter how good he is. In this case, he's a decent player but not great anyway.
I believe if players need a break no matter what time of year is they should listen and give them a break. The gold cup is 7 weeks long and anything can happened
They act like it’s drama. Puli said he wanted to play in the friendlies and Poch, his head man said no …play in all or play in none. This is only drama in America. The end

I honestly feel sorry for the current coach of the U.S. Men’s National Team. He is walking into a system that is far more political than what he likely experienced coaching in Europe. U.S. Soccer has layers of bureaucracy, internal agendas, and outside pressures that can make the job incredibly difficult — especially for someone used to more football-centric environments.
Given his personality and coaching style, I am not sure this was the right job for him. He probably should have sought advice from someone like Jürgen Klinsmann, who went through similar challenges and eventually left because of them. Even speaking with the most recent coach might have helped him understand the reality of what he is stepping into. It is not just about tactics here — it is about navigating an entire political ecosystem.
Poch is 100% correct. This is our most important preparation time for the World Cup. Pulisic doesn't get to pick and choose his level of participation, that's disgraceful.
Playing for the jersey and playing for the country are both good entities, but they are things. Desperado is the threat. Follow where the stuff goes, but not the stuff.
Pusilik is a 🤡
Landon Donovan is such a joke, why don’t we just stop talking about it. All of you on this show stop bringing attention to it. Obviously you all want the drama, to have something to talk about. It’s easy to create your show of the negative, do better work unite this team and be good reporters/commenters what ever you all are… ex players. You all should understand this. Make the usmnt better with out this drama.
The US needs some dogs out there if pulisic wants to be 1 foot in 1 foot out dont have him play in the world cup either start building a team that plays well together thats what needs to happen !!! Start finding recruits !!! Luna came from UPSL theres nationals in orange county july 2025 start finding competitors
You want to be Captain then you have play in tournaments like the Gold Cup, especially with WC here next year.
