  1. The paycheck. The paycheck is why they're coaching. Everyone comes to the US to get paid and chill. It's been like that since Pelé et al and the NY Cosmos. EOD

  2. When you select 15 out of 26 players for the Gold cup roster, from the MLS… You are doomed
    I would have thought us soccer would get better from the Dempsey, Donovan and Howard era….
    But it just keeps getting worse and worse… Why do US managers always select so many MLS players… If you're in the MLS, you absolutely suck compared to the rest of the world… You are a junior college quality player, compared to the rest of the world….

    Leave the MLS off rosters….
