B) 5-1 is culmination of Gregg’s coaching and the leadership who him in place.
C) Yes. The players need to be held accountable but players follow coaches. This is on Gregg.
Columbia is a great team, and they are probably better than England. But this performance is an indictment of Gregg. This is exactly what folks warned about with Berhalter staying. He has never been successful at any level, and he is not successful here. I have to think that a poor showing in the Copa, and I think that is coming, USSF will have to move on from Berhalter.

I’m sorry Colombia can beat any team in Europe at this point. Proof is in the record with European teams this stretch. By the way, let me remind you that Columbia won 32 in France. They may all be playing in the big 5 European leagues, but most are bouncing around year after year to different clubs. They are not heavily relied upon, first name on the team sheet players (hopefully, for his sake, Pulisic has finally found that team).
There seems to be a preoccupation with always moving to the biggest and most notable clubs, rather than finding a place where they will play and their game will grow. I don’t have a great love for MLS, but I am starting to feel that playing every minute as a star for an MLS team would be preferable to the musical chairs in Europe approach that so many of the USMNT seem to be on.
