Lalas is now, and always has been, a complete joke. He wasn't a great player, he's a terrible commentator, and has become a fanboy for a dysfunctional and bankrupt organization that is wasting the talent the USA has.
Alexi Lalas is so full of sh*t and he's even admitted as much in the past. He's the Stephen A Smith of soccer. I won't even respect him enough to say he's the SAS of football.

USA don't have the soccer environment to put a quality team on the field. In the USA youth soccer costs ($$$$) to play competitive soccer, that is the problem. The pay to play model will always produce average players.

I have seen the US Federation look for the best national coach before. I believe that Gregg Berhalter will be available for them to choose. Just sayin….

Alexi Lallas, I've never liked you, and you sound very salty about Jesse Marsch lol.
Lalas can't imagine that Marsch has problems other than "they didn't hire him." Laughable point. The organization has nothing to offer an ambitious coach and he knows EXACTLY what was on the table when he was potentially going to be the coach. Maybe he saw things you are blind to, Lalas, because you aren't in those rooms yourself.
US soccer federation have no strategy or change just like Gregg Berhalter. They will take anyone if give them little result.

You guys are in lala land. You guys really think you have the talents to attract big time coaches. Outside of money, the U.S. has limited talent here The country club approach to find soccer talents must stop in this country. To find talent, the approach/setup must be similar to Basketball and Baseball.
