  1. I thought the US looked very dangerous in their previous match against Paraguay, but this game is just WOW. Playing so fast and fluidly was most impressive. To be surgical in the finishes has been missing. Let's hope this is the start of something big!

  2. spoken like a true mentality of loser under no circumstances none whatsoever does a team that believes themselves top looses to anyone 5-1 it doesn’t matter who they are playing or friendly or not. You represent your country.
    Talk is cheap ..
Just how Uruguay and Mexico didn’t make it PASS GROUP stages in Qatar World cup and the USA did hmmm..

  4. Last time a USA team had won a game against Uruguay was in 2002, the final score was 2-1.
In my humble opinion, this win was purely circumstantial, no other team had EVER defeated Uruguay (throughout its history) by this much.
As a matter of fact, I think this USA victory will go down in history, despite that it was a friendly match, it will, the same way the 7-1 victory of Germany over Brazil occurred during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in the Maracana stadium. 🤔

  5. As a result of this victory, the USA team do NOT have to jump the deep end by assuming that they're going to win the 2026 World Cup or that they have become a strong candidate to win the World Cup. Nope, nope…there's still a looong way to walk for the US team to achieve such a milestone. ⚽

  6. First, I don't think the USA team, along with the entire board of directors (whatever they're ) have a clue of the luxury they gave themselves by defeating Uruguay this high score. The last time a USA team had defeated Uruguay was in 2002, the final score was 2-1.
Second, it could be possible that many USA team fans are already assuming that the US team—with this win—-has become a strong candidate to win the 2026 World Cup. Well, nope, not at all. It's still has a long long way to walk to achieve such a milestone. Don't get tricked. 👈

  7. Did anyone else see that USA plays like a vintage Tottenham ! poche! I know your pain sir you’ll be back and you’ll win a championship league with Real Madrid! I see it

  8. Soccer is so unpredictable. In recent international friendlies, South Korea beat USA 2:0, USA beat Japan 2:0, Japan beat Brazil 3:2, and USA beat Uruguay 5:1.
