People debating if goals were offside or on. I wish they would just go with hockey rules and create a blue line and end all of this nonsense. The game would become 10 times more exciting. Endless 0-0 or 1-0 games is boring and shootouts are even worse. It works well in hockey and it would work for soccer-football. We should start it here in the USA. Heck Europe had no problem completing changing basketball we should do the same thing. Even my soccer diehard fans agree that the offside is nonsense. Just play some defense and stop crying.

Hayes shared the same idea of mine😂 that coffey with Rose in the midfield,Girma took the control of the back. No team could escape from being under great pressure. Rose absolutely showed her power for tearing the team format of the opponent.🌹🌹🌹👍

The offsides call on Moultrie (to deny her goal) was obscenely mis-called. That said, the Macario goal was offsides.
Weren't the second and third goals by USA off-side ? They were behind the defence before they had the ball ? What don't I understand about soccer anymore ? I've seen this in other games too.
Glad Italy did some pressing – the entire middle of the game was a bit of a slog against press but that's exactly what USA needs to come up against to prepare for stronger teams.

Good game. Both of these teams will benefit from several areas that this game showed a need for more work. However, the US had some excellent passing from midfield and good, sharp finishes. Historically, both the men (and some women's) teams have had trouble being clinical on their shots. No more? I hope. It is a good time for progress in that area. Both teams look dangerous!
I watch all the USWNT games and I hope Rodman does not go overseas… The NWSL players on the national team seem faster, sharper and more technical than those who went overseas… Girma and Thompson have lost a step… Expecting to see Heaps Monday, but she hasn't seemed too great as of late… Fox is doing great for Arsenal but she would be beaten by at least half of the NWSL forwards.. She used to be a force but, she just seems average… Yohannes looks great, but it seems like her play is not elevating to the levels she could be making it to… Overseas seems to stifle players from being great.. The only perks of overseas is money and increased stamina because of the amount of games they play

One penalty for Italy wasn't taken and one goal for the USA was offside . So 2-1 is the fair result.

Because of her small unassuming frame, Rose had been underrated for too long. Nice to see the world is catching up and noticing her abilities. Her positioning is always on target because of a high soccer IQ and her footwork is impeccable!

Love the Italians singing their national anthem ❤. Why can’t the USWNT at least acknowledge they sort of like 🇺🇸?? Fun to watch them play, just hope some day they realize how bad that looks when Girma, Lavelle, and Allysa T. play the entitled card and disrespect. Sucks knowing they’ll do this at the next WC. Love watching their abilities, sad they can’t recognize what this country has provided them.
