In winning the WC, we created a monster in Ellis! the WC squad was made out of players she didn't choose,. But with all the retirements, she 's choosing absolutely the wrong players. Coupled with her ridiculous 3 back formation. is why the US done so bad lately; failed to medal at last year's Olympics, and last place at the She Believe Cup

Number 1? Are you kidding? Never mind the questionable 3-back line experiment (with Allie Long?). What happened to the offense? And I keep hearing these recent games have been good for the team….only if you learn from them. All I see is the confusion and hesitation from players playing in unfamiliar positions and formations.

1:45 Three US players marking Thomis. That created the space that Perisset and Le Sommer exploited. Thomis' speed is so worrisome that opponents double or triple the mark on her, which frees other players.
Allie Long burned for 3 goals. Never even thought she was a good midfielder – replace.

Deserved result. France were better in every way. The Americans should learn that being able to keep possession while under pressure, and technical skill in general, is quite important. Athleticism and fitness won't win you tournaments anymore. I saw this result coming from the way the US has played lately. At least we're working on it, but we're not on France's level at the moment and Ellis' managing decisions aren't helping.
People (Americans) were criticizing Alex Morgan for going to France to play with Lyon, saying that she was better off playing in the NWSL. Morgan said she wants to improve her game by playing in a league that offers a different and more technical style, but that wasn't enough for the critics. Now I guess people understands why she decided to play in the French league.
Terrible line-up for the US. If we bring this squad to major tournament, we're in trouble.
Nice going, Captain Carli Llyod. Here's a gal complaining she isn't paid enough compared to men. I suppose she thinks she deserves a raise after that performance. Shameful! Solo, Rapinoe were the soul and skill of this team. The current team stinks.
