I'm fine with a chance to take 3rd, but it's harder to enjoy with the way they played against Argentina. I get that ARG is ranked #1 and the USA #31, but it was almost an embarrassment. I realize even the best teams might not finish on top in a big tourney like this, but if we're ever going to gain the respect in the eyes of the rest of the world, we can't lose like that; especially on our home turf. I think if we can strengthen our defense and get some decent strikers over the next 5-10 years, we could be a top 15, maybe even top 10, team in the world rankings.

when I play at school soccer I'm better than the guys that are in the team, but I dont know why I didnt make the team if I have more potential. hopefully the US wins third place. for me it's important for the US to get third because this is a country in which football (soccer) is barely growing.

I could be wrong but I think USA will win for four reasons. 1.) They get their three suspended players back. 2.) This game is being played in the USA. There is an element of pride there. 3.) They want revenge for the group stage loss they had to Colombia. 4.) 3rd place means more to USA than Colombia I feel.
