Catalina Perez should've come off her line immediately when Megan Rapinoe passed the ball. There was only one U.S. player in the vicinity of where the ball was passed and that was Alex Morgan and she was already well forward of the Colombian defense when she received the ball. That momentary hesitation inside the box is what forced her to commit the foul that got her tossed from the game.
Either that, or she should've just stayed back and hoped the defenders could cut Morgan off in time. When you're the the GK and you end up being the last defender, you've got to fully commit to coming off your line or don't do it all.
