  1. Game plan for the US if i was the coach;
    Start with Gio Reina, and Luca Delatorre on the field. Pulisic, Mussah, on the bench.
    40 minutes into the game, if Gio, Dellatorre and the us is struggling, Take Gio, Dellatorre out and Pulisic Mussah in. If one or any of them is playing good use your Judgement. Second Half start with full force. If things are still not resolved by the minute 30 of the second half, get Jesus on the field But keeping big boy Sargent in. Go for a final kill.
    This is how i would beat the oranges.
    If i was a coach i would never start with plan A.
    Make changes necessary by the end of first half to get the players whom will playing the second half get acclimated to the second half.
    Do not delay changes (Subs) to the end of second half, Changes in the offensive needs at least 15 minutes to maybe make an impact in the game. Changes to the defensive do not apply to this rule. Players need time to shine you dumb ass coach.

  2. No gio is mind boggling.. Shaq Moore and Haji Wright were atrocious.. A Rob is awful on the ball particularly with first touches, GGGs tactics (sitting back, stopping the attack/pressure way too early) were just plain bad. We were very lucky to advance in this game. That being said I thought putting Walker in there was a good move. The starting 11 was solid and the first half was a great half and throughout all this we came out w the win

  3. This team is far from a finished product but still so young it makes me feel extremely optimistic about our future. The deeper we get into the WC, the more experience this group gets together. It would be something to see them advance to the quarters like 2002.

  4. As an Iranian, I really do hope that U.S will perform well against Holland on Saturday so that the victory today against Iran will not lose its value.

  5. Too many fans have let their hatred of Berhalter ruin this historic world cup for them. I get frustrated with Berhalter too but the team has met every major goal. We forget he recruited dual nationals that are crucial to our success. We qualified for the world cup and made it out of the group stage. No mid-level WC teams go to the WC with greater aspirations than get out of the group. Now it's a gauntlet where anything can happen. At this point we need to enjoy the ride and push the team as a far as possible with our enthusiasm. Berhalter will do some stupid things, accept it and move on, it could be far worse.

  6. No MLS players in the starting XI, BUT, MLS has played a MASSIVE PART IN MANY OF OUR PLAYERS DEVELOPMENT AND MLS NEEDS TO LEAN INTO THIS MORE! BE PROUD OF SENDING PRODUCTS TO EUROPE LIKE McKennie, BA, Turner, Ream, Gio, Scally, Etc. Etc.! MLS needs to become a lethal feeder league both for the popularity of the sport in this country and for US Soccer! Also GET RID OF PAY TO PLAY!
