  1. Uruguay won as they're expected to vs Pan & Bol.

The 1st real test is vs U.S.A.
Uru needs to plays with same grit.
U.S. needs to…dam outta ideas. Captain obvious says play smarter link up play in final 3rd.

  2. To measure Uruguay’s level of playing the viewers need to throw away the games against Panama and Bolivia. Uruguay is been playing in the toughest competition worldwide to get a spot to the next World Cup. The qualifying rounds in South America are grueling and long. A better measurement of the quality of the Uruguayan squad is a tie against Colombia in Barranquilla, Colombia, a victory against Brazil in Montevideo, Uruguay, and a 2-0 win against Argentina in Buenos Aires. We need to remember, for most teams the first round of Copa America is used as a way for players to get acquainted with one another. These guys seldom play together except for competitions like Copa America and the World Cup. The time to prepared as a team is limited and normally takes two or three games for the engine to run in all cylinders. The real competition and the real test for Uruguay will be in the next round when they will either face Colombia or Brasil. Are they contenders at the title? Absolutely! But this is just the beginning and anything can happen. Will there be changes in Uruguay for the game against USA? I doubt it very much. At least for the first half Bielsa will use all of his starters and perhaps even on part of the second half. This is a young team with no real need to rest players. Valverde could be the exception because of his run with Real Madrid in the Champions League. But Bentancur is just as good. Suarez and DeArrascaeta might also see some action in the second half. Uruguay wants to go into the next round on a high note, make no mistake.
