I gave this a go last night with a group of U14's. The first time many of them had been introduced to the Up-Back-Through concept.
Although simple in design and set up, the up-back-through concept is quite challenging for young players to grasp.
However, we persevered and by the end of the session there was some really good, fast and flowing examples of the up-back-through working.
They even used it in the game at the end!

On your second game, where the 2 out of possession defenders outnumber the number 9 attacker who is looking for the pass from his team. How do you prevent the 2 defenders from just cutting off the number 9 completely from the incoming pass ?
