Losing to Uruguay is not shameful.
Didnt watch the game but from these highlights this ref looks like he was high the entire time.
A change can be beneficial for the coach and the student players. The soccer players should think about all the time and effort the construction, the stands, locker rooms, and the pitch, and even the soccer ball were all prepared for them. The officials work hard, all that is needed is much gratitude from both sides.

Weah’s slap, punch whatever was inexcusable for a professional footballer. He didn’t lose this game for us. Pulisic is our top player, personal favorite of mine ,but it wasn’t all on his shoulders to get us a W. It was a team effort that we simply didn’t perform as we needed too. We all knew copa was going to be dirty, commentators even said, no blood, no foul. Congrats to Uruguay. Was a fair goal, a toe or a mile. Winnings winning. I still can’t shy away from saying that the inexperienced referee was intentionally placed for this game. And made terrible calls. Should have been an experienced referee for a game like this. Underdog U.S. (let’s just be honest here), to 15 time champions of this tournament. Such a shame to see such hype for a game be utterly smashed into the ground, the main cause being the ref. Was a clown house spectacle to watch. What a waste of serious potential for a great match. Shame on this ref. Seemed entirely biased. And should be investigated, not to overturn the outcome of the game. But just pure justice for fans of the USMNT.

The US really has good ball control and fast passing that is on the level of top teams, but they just need to find that finishing cherry that gets the ball into the net off of those controlled passes.

I am convinced for the first time a ref was favoriting Uruguay. There’s no way it’s just “bad refereeing”. This is obvious favoriting.
During the video at 3:16 he did not play advantage, he called the faul and the team player put his had on the ball stopped the ball and played on, that’s why you always see players stand in front of stopped balls to stop fast plays but it was all legal.. glad to see the commentator say it’s ridiculous but I like it

Uruguayan here, glad we won but the game was absolutely awful, full of fouls, super cut, no one enjoyed the winning. Tough game of course, I also agree the referee was bananas but that's how football has been since the beggining. Good luck next time US! There is time to get in shape for the World Cup.

This game is an example of why many Americans don't like soccer. Constant flopping, horrible officiating, and a "hack a Shaq" strategy by the Uruguayans made it unwatchable.
