This current player pool has always had this much quality and the only names worth mentioning in this match were developed in Europe or went to Europe at a young age ahead of their prime.

US will win. None of those Paraguayan players would risk an injury for a cup they have no real shot b/c they will go back to their professional lives playing for real money. No way will they risk their livelihood. FIFA is fixed. Its just like boxing. No one believed it until they did. This soccer thing is a billion if not trillion dollar business. The likelihood of cheating is rampant; the betting and $$$$ that passes hands. lol. lemmings.

What a gift it would be for the the growth of the game here that could be enough to demand accountability from our federation into proper player first youth development and away from exclusionary monopolized youth leagues, quality easily accessible but mandatory coaching education, and an even stronger push for a better domestic league format

That bad touch from Dest @4:42 is sooo unlike him, that's a goal 8/10 times. Hes not exactly comfortable in front of goal, but he's incredible on the ball/dribble (even better than Pulisic) think it was just nerves and a bit more space than he's used to in front of goal. This game could have easily been 5 or 6-1. Especially if Pulisic hadn't come off at half, our attack died down a bit in 2nd because of that. We also had a goal called back. So happy with the way they played. I figured we would win but didn't expect it to be like that. Paraguay were one of the best defensive teams in qualifying (only allowed 10 goals in 18 games), they also beat Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay — 4-way tie for 3rd place and only 1 pt from 2nd. I had us winning 2-1
America has gotten amazing I'm looking forward to this as a new soccer fan
