  1. I’m sad that this happened, I think our tournament would have gone on much longer if not for this action. Why would you do this? Everyone is prime right now, this was our time to make a mark, now we will go against the eventual winner. Let’s see what we are made of. My heart is with you USMNT. We like to do it the hard way, let’s get it done. 🎉

  2. I support Weah as should his team mates and the fans. Ref allowed Panama to assault our players just as he allowed Mexico to assault our players. No control over the match. He should not be allowed to officiate big matches. He sucks.
The assault on Turner was intentional and should've have seen the player sent off.
In this case the Panamanian player is harassing Weah 4-5 times with no warning from the ref – I understand why Weah pushed him off.

  3. He's just a young unexperienced player who fell into the trap of the Panamanian player. He was being pushed and hit by the Panamanian until he lost his cool and then the Panamanian sold it very well to the referee. The red card is a good call BUT the other player was looking for it. Panama played a dirty game and should've had at least 2 players with red cards

  4. Two swing one hit only 2 days is ajoke copa America is a mafia they hate went small team wins because of tickets sale Weah only two days while carrasquilla for simple stopping the the place in a playing movement Weah should be band for the all copa Pulisic got up so quick and push after a supposedly hard foul this games they know who they want USA can't win let take Panama out too taking their best player they think they got us but we coming hard let's go Panama.

  5. No apology to his nation, just, "I'm good", and, "I'm being painted as a violent person", real selflessness being displayed in front of our eyes. You let down the entire football nation here and you only care about yourself. Victim mentality, hope he never plays for us again.

  6. The USMNT always tries to act so tough like they’re tryna prove something 🤦🏽‍♂️. When you play most teams in Central America, they play dirty AF. It’s known! He got baited so easily. You KNOW the dudes will be physical, you KNOW they’re going to cry when you touch them. It’s all a bait tactic and he took it hook, line, and sinker. It’s definitely a culture issue. They’re always so ready to prove something they’re not there to prove.

  7. It is wrong that Bergholter and the team are throwing him under the bus. He made a mistake but even with a player down, there is zero reason why we should have lost.

It was Bergholter that pulled every creative attacking player off and parked the bus.

  8. He said “I’m getting painted to be like a violent person”. Wow!! He’s the victim in this!? I hear no apology. I do not hear him taking responsibility for his idiocy. He put his squad in a horrible position. They have to pull off an upset now to move on. This is a pathetic show of arrogance. He needs to admit his fault, apologize, and move forward. Tempers flare. The opposition obviously set out to get under the US team’s skin by being overly physical. I get it. But Weah played right into their hands. He was a fool.

  9. Players are responsible for their individual actions, but this is now the third fighting incident since the WC… It's not one player… It's a culture problem.
