I've been a US citizen since 2020. I love the placing of the hand near the heart and the US national anthem is more uplifting than God Save the Queen/King.

Empty stadiums a year before the the world cup, FIFA's greed is what made them give the USA another world cup to host. They are slowly realising giving world cups to countries to for money is killing the golden goose of the world cup. That is why FIFA for the first time are begging England to bid for the 2040 World Cup to give it a bit more credibility after 6 decades of refusing to give England the world cup out of pettiness about England being reason football is global when FIFA want to make this claim.
