  2. Lampard hit it with raw power without really knowing where it was going. He said so himself. He just had a rough idea that it would be somewhere on target.

    When Gerrard struck the ball, he hit it with unerring accuracy. He knew exactly which of the four corners it was going to go.

    That is the difference between the two players.
