For the broncos to win he doesn’t need to be an all pro. 180 yards, no turnovers and control T.O.P the broncos can win 20-17. Everybody is also sleeping on his feet. He can run, obviously not like Bo or drake but he’s no tom Brady or drew brees. I have a funny feeling this game won’t turn out how all these patriots talking heads/fans think it will.
Has anyone stepped back for.a.sec.and.imagined the possibility of Stidham playing well, lack of playing time not withstanding, and.making this closer than what everyone is saying? I get the reasoning in saying he doesn't have a chance but the same was.said about Morrell, Plinkstt, Warner and Brady. I'm not making comparisons but any QB that steps out on the field.has a chance. Like, everyones talking about lack of playing time but if this thing goes the other way, ya can't say it wasn't a.possibility.
You're all.doing what ifs now but now.the what ifs about the possibility of the game going other than what you're talking about. I'm a lifelong Pat's fan but I've got a.wierd feeling this game could be different than what everyone is talking about.
I hope the Pats.blow em out but IF the game goes the other way for the Broncos, I just don't wanna hear everyone on social media saying they couldn't believe this. No-one iis.talking about what happens if the Broncos pull a rabbit outta their asses and wins, like nobody is even considering it.
All im.saying is that in 2001, people gave the same chances of Brady winning vs the Rams as they are Stidham pulling this off……just saying
If Drake protects the football then Patriots win. Stidham won't be the turnover machine like CJ was. Patriots pressure on D will be up the middle. I expect Milton and or Barmore to have a big game.

It's so Obvious, ever since they got the News of Nix injury, they have been Saying we believe in Stidham, showing his ..what 5 good highlights all over the News. and talking it on the local Sports Radio. Saying " Foles done it, Hosteller done it!! So Stidham can do it! Well Guess what Stidham is WORSE THAN THOSE 2 QBS AS LONG AS DRAKE PROTECTS THE BALL. PATROITS WIN!

Our defense definitely needs to step up. I watched ESPN from a couple years ago talking about Stidham and he was the best quarterback that was not a starter available that year. He’s not Bo but I don’t think the Patriots should overlook him as an easy win.

Going by this logic Josh Allen and CJ Stroud are the same level of QB since they both had 4 turnovers last week
Stidham is a serviceable QB, he’ll be significantly better than CJ Stroud was, and he is mobile, he’ll still do the rollouts etc., he just won’t do the designed run plays. Sure hope Josh remembers Drake is very mobile and rolls him out more often…keeping Drake in the pocket 95% of the time is a favor to defenses who want to keep him in the pocket. Don’t do what the defense wants you to do.

Nix has a superior/quick ball release…effective 1st step to avoid the pass rush and 4.6 speed to boot…and very quick decision making on timed routes while running Sean Paytons offense…all qualities that Stidham lacks.

As much as stidham is getting sooo much praise…. He’s a career backup for a reason, he couldn’t beat out a WASHED Russell Wilson and couldn’t be out a rookie qb in Bo Nix! These people acting like those 5 turnovers led to a ton of points. Virtually all minus the pick 6 were either immediately taken back or 3 and out. The defense was lights out- and outside of a few select qbs wouldnt have made THAT much of a difference. It was the second half adjustments that Pats capitalized on and pulled away…
