  1. England certainly look better against teams who actually try and attack them and don’t play for a 1-0 loss with 10 men behind the ball the whole game. I think this game could be the turning point for Tuchel and England. He is doing something most English England managers don’t do. He is picking the best combination of players who give the team balance and not players with the big reputation. Rice and Anderson look like the perfect midfielder that defend and distribute the ball and I don’t see Bellingham playing there again because covers England defensively. Gordon and Madueke played well but I think both at times have poor decision making and the final ball is not consistent, but they make great understudies to Saka and Grealish from the bench.

    I think with a World Cup with more teams and more games, this gives England a huge advantage because I still thing England is the team with most depth in the world and has the smallest drop off in quality from the bench. I think strong subs will win the next World Cup, so this could be a great opportunity for England, it doesn’t mean they win but that will get far.
