  1. This is true. When you have a team-mate who is so good eith the ball, you're gonna do your best to raise your level as a teammate so as to not disappoint.

  2. It really does remind me of Maradona entering Napoli and making them from the laughing stock to the club to be feared. The only difference is that Maradonna played in a vastly better league.

  3. Realizing how good other are can help you reach a new level. Imagine if you always play with people below your level, then you think you are the king but also aren't learning as much.

Players like Ronaldo and messing into clubs like the ones they’ve gone to because they don’t have to train as hard, they don’t have to work as hard as they did 10-12 years ago, because they are just simply so much better than the level of opponent. It’s a huge money grabbing plot, neither of them give a hoot about the club or the fans, maybe it might give the team mates a lift but hit a huge one.

  5. Messi took the challenge, went to the worst team in the league and is carrying them hard, while Ronaldo chose the easy way, went to the best team in the league and made them worse – that's the difference…
