  1. The problem is that your foot is too wide for these types of shoes. You should try a leather Mizuno. Soccer shoes are only functional if they adapt 100% to the characteristics of your foot. That's why there are so many types, not because they have different functions but to adapt to your foot. Someone with a very narrow foot can wear an F50, someone with a medium-width foot can wear a Vapor, and someone with a very wide foot like yours should aim for wide leather shoes like the Mizuno.

  2. I did this and lost a toe nail. But I have to accept that beside the pain it is more fun and I can have controllable touches perfect cuts rather than my old size. I still use my old boot mainly and sometimes half size down one

  3. Hey ik you probably won’t see this but next time use copas but make sure to wear them in. I do this all the time and my touch and shot on the ball have never been better. Hopefully you try this out.🤞🏾

  4. Cr7, like most high level pros do, wears custom fitted boots…. not sure how they’d be “half a size down”.
You also want enough space for your toes to spread out a bit to prevent injuries, and improve mobility.
Another point to note is that feet swell when running so you want to accommodate for that.

  5. So I noticed the biggest thing with this is it only works on non synthetic boots. You need a pair of like adidas leather boots, u stretch them with shoe horns or whatever for a day or two, then wear them a day or two, then soak them in hot water and wear them and when they’re dry it’s like a synthetic material type of fit but with the comfort and support and better feel from natural leather, never could get that with synthetic boots though
