I'm entirely fed up with hearing the comment, 'get the job done' as a negative. That's the point, you give enough to move onto the next stage, it doesn't have to be pretty, it doesn't have to be perfect. It's rising to the occasion and doing enough to get to the next match. England have done exactly that, and been excellent so far, enough said.

No English team has been this resilient in my lifetime…i love what Southgate did to unify the country and the team but under him…we would have been out vs Mexico.
