Walnut Grove head boys soccer coach Trent Kutch led the Wildcats to a second consecutive 5A Division 1 state championship in 2026, finishing 31-0 despite losing 17 seniors from the previous title team. The program, which played its inaugural season in 2024, has now won two state titles in three years and carries a 58-game unbeaten streak. Kutch is DFW Inside High School Sports’ Boys Soccer Coach of the Year.
