Not a Premier League match so it doesn't count to that, but you always want to win. Spurs played a team they should beat and they did beat which isn't always the Spurs'y way. Is it just me or does Tottenham seem a notable bit younger? Of course in a non-league match teams often play younger players to see how they progress. Happy to see Palhinha get a really nice goal, and haven't Spurs had like three of these bicycle kick goals, I know Richarlison had two in one match at the start of the season. I like it when our guys are making excellent shots and please none of that nonsense celebration thing like Ekitike did in his last match — Liverpool squeaked by thanks to Ekitike;s goal, but the celebration like that and getting red carded when the match isn't over and your team is barely leading. I would not have wanted to be on the receiving end from Slot for that and he's extremely lucky they held on to win. He's a super talented player and it would suck if this stupid act winds up crippling his career.
