Man City are making the same mistake with Semenyo as they made with Savio. They keep them on the outside wings and don't let them venture inside enough. They are both inside wingers who need to be in the middle of the pitch. But City keep these guys wide all the time. Same thing that killed Grealish's career. Keeping them outside without adventure inside. Very obvious to even the dumbest football fans and very frustrating.
