  1. £65m for Solanke….for a Player that, before the Transfer Market went nuts, is worth £20m tops and is VERY mediocre to say the least.

Then there is Alvarez at £81m…right…I wonder how much Mansour put into that price, so City could get out of that soppy FFP…."again"

How much is he REALLY worth…£35m? 40m?…..and again, all this since the Transfer Market went nuts.

If you go and look at Solanke's Transfer Value, it stands at £35m, that is AFTER his Transfer to Spurs, which is more realistic than that soppy price Spurs paid.

The word "desperation" springs to mind.

I wonder how long it will be before FIFA, UEFA and the various FA's wake up and smell the coffee and "at last" put a cap on Players Wages and Transfers, before every League on the Planet prices itself out of the game completely.

Solanke will be for Spurs what Sutton was for Chelsea.

He had one good season with Blackburn and faded into nothingness.

Solanke has had his one good Season and will do the same with Spurs.

  2. Remember Trossard was decent at Brighton. Then he went to Arsenal and showed world-class levels. Same with Callum Wilson for Newcastle (when he's fit). I don't see why Solanke can't do the same upfront for Spurs. He has the attributes, he can run at defenders, he's strong on the ball, he can poach, head the ball very well, and is acrobatic. He's an upgrade on Richarlison.

  3. Worlds gone made he couldn’t get in over firmino mane and salah who all cost half of that, he’s done it one season I don’t get how so called experts are saying great signing it’s shocking business in my view, West Ham have signed fullkrug who is a bit older but played at international tournaments and champions league for a much better price, spurs have had their pants pulled down

  4. Solanke. Son and Richarlison if he can stay fit we will be scoring for fun. Now we have two strikers finally. People need to lay off richarlison also because he did score a lot of goals in a row last season and if he didn’t get injured we would have had too 4 and the fact that he wants to stay at our club means a lot and he does give us his all we need to respect the fact he loves our club and turned down big money to Saudi unlike other players in different clubs who couldn’t handle their greed. Now let’s go get Scott mctominay and Chiesa from juventus to boost our midfield. Both midfielders can chip in with goals also Eze is the superstar signing at the end of the window we desperately need then I can say we can get top 4 and win a trophy.
    COYS

  5. People complaining about price. He knocked in 19 goals in a mid table side, he is homegrown, 3 years left of his contract and Bournemouth didn't want to sell. It's a lot of money but considering average players now go for 40-60m as standard, it is not ridiculous.

  6. Chelsea came out of nowhere to sign Neto. They probably just checking Spurs scoting list and splash the money to make sure the player signs.

Obviously overpaid for Neto. Hopefully his chessestring hamstring didnt grt pulled this season.

  7. Zero transfer zero ineos for poor man utd must learn from rival clubs I don't know what they're doing united board or owners who's blamed??? Sold players like Anthony, Ericson, case, lindlof, mount and Sancho then everything will be open for blamed united

  8. FFP etc etc all clearly working…. every club just needs to find stupid loopholes. Chelsea need a major sanction. Man City will get a slap on the wrist etc
