Quietly have gone from scared about Arnie leaving to excited Popovic has taken it on. Just feels like a fantastic appointment to me. Tony's Socceroos Is a tantalising prospect. He stood out as a player, he stood out as a coach. It might be a bumpy ride – but short of a Bielsa, a Hiddink back in the day- this is the best outcome. Short turnaround, hats off.
