Had Mexico equalized, it would have taken magic to outlast Mexico in extra time and win on penalties. This England team has a much better chance of beating Norway then one that would have been forced to win in extra time.
that's how our star player as put out of the game… "put you foot in front, get kicked" that is a b.s. rule… welcome to modern football
Well done people of the saint george cross flag. The better team won. Now Mexico has to wait for the next world cup to fix their mistakes
That black guy was watching a different game. Pigford had 3 saves in the first half. If European teams play qualified matches in the Americas. Just look at France vs Paraguay. I agree England had a better team, but as Latino Americano. This is how you play a game, give your everything.
Analysis aside… I've been listening to English soccer announcers for years and am genuinely confused why you guys can't learn to pronounce Latin names correctly. It's ji-MEN-ez, not JIM-en-ez. It's not.that.hard. Show some respect by learning how to pronounce people's names correctly.
Declans boots to the face should have been a red card
Kasper Schmeichel needs to lay off the salt 😂
England reminded the world that we invented the game. And that against all odds, England won. Not survived, but won. All the hostile tricks that Mexico fans did, having loud parties in front of the England hotel making it difficult to sleep, spraying white paint or milk on the England busses as they entered, booing God Save the King anthem, along with the history England has with that stadium, Mexico playing in a red mist state of mind, the Mexican dives, the questionable ref, England down to ten men for 30 mins of the second half… yet… we beat all odds. That is football. And we just showed the world how to play it properly. Indeed a very beautiful game!
4:40 Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t the Red Card against England generated the SAME way it was against the USA? A line judge signaled the use of VAR? Can we just get back to common sense and hand out cards at the time and place of occurrence? There’s no way slow motion isn’t used to make them look worse than they were.
This ends the debate that Mexico can compete on the World Stage. They CANNOT. Red card England for more than half the match, and Mexico still loses. Mexico futbol is bush league. 😂
I love watching Peter Crouch actually being articulate, I only know him as the oaf from the BBC’s 50 Greatest World Cup Shocks program
England brought the rain & dealt the pain!
It's 1 thing to lose and be eliminated but to lose in your own stadium is just embarrassing.
A few people need to be fired from the team after this.
The best team won, end of. Character, resoluteness, quality when it mattered. Well done 3 Lions.
Dan Burn is forever 'BigDanBurn'….
it should have been mexico 5 – england 3…Mexico just couldn't execute. That was the difference. Mexico lost the game…it was theirs to win it. But at the end of the day the scoreboard is what matters. Congratulations to the three lions!
lol MEXICAN HEAD COACH HATED ON THE BLACK GUY QUIONES. YOUR BEST STRIKER CAUSE HE TIES THE RECORD 😂😂😂😂
Mexico needs to put some money in the stadium and nice it up, that stadium should not be run down.
“England better team” also England red card
Mexico misses 4 goal attempts
But yes “England a better team lol”
Anderson, the bandito
Now England will play against Norway in the quarterfinals 🇬🇧 🇲🇽
Most of the hate Mexico 🇲🇽 is getting right now is from fans of countries that wouldn’t even play the World Cup in their worthless dreams 🥱😵💫 VIVA MÉXICO 🇲🇽
