  1. He’s an outfield player and knows better than picking up a ball on the pitch…should of just used his feet like he’s supposed to and knock it back to the keeper

  2. If you're arguing that the defender didn't hear the whistle, you are assuming… The ref controls the game and whether or not you heard the ref's whistle, you will definitely be penalized. That's common sense

  3. i mean with the rules in hand, its is a penalty, but morality wise unless harry kane or someone was close enough or pressing already after the pass, i feel this penalty changes the game and everything when bayern wouldnt deserve it, so with a human eye/mind this should never be a penalty when u do it for the first time in a game, its a dumb af mistake from the defender, and it would be "fair" for the ref to give it since hes following the rules, but yeah

  4. So according to her, aren’t quick free kicks where the opponent has not heard the whistle and is not paying attention but the attacker kicks the ball back into play and scores a goal against the “spirit of the game”? What a joke.

  5. it's not about the advantage the other team would get, is about the fact there is a rule in football. if any player besides the goalkeeper touches the ball with their hand in the penalty area, it's a straight up penalty.
