  2. no one is talking about the pitch,. the injury sustained was the shoes getting glued to the pitch(as mckinney has stated) than the impact. the synthetic pitch not only slows down the balls it makes players much more prone to injuries.

  3. Canada was boring predictable slow vs a 9 men team.
    The quality of WC football has gone downhill any Euro 2004 European team would crush both of these teams

  4. It was probably something about running the score up, the second half was about as one way traffic as I have seen a match, all Qatar could really hope to do it was clear the ball for a breather. The foul on Kone was bad, but it just looked like a reckless challenge that ended badly, deserving of a red card but he wasnt trying to hurt him.
