I agree it is super unfortunate that we have to have weekly talks about VAR decisions instead of the games. I feel VAR was brought in with the intent to make things more fair and consistent but there has been an absolute struggle to honor either of those things.
Yes, it can help prevent absolute missed errors like the hand of god. But a lot of these calls are subjective rulings on fouls or offsides. Which sure, you can get an offsides call right after multiple angles and going frame by frame but is it then a “clear and obvious” error? Idk. agree it isn’t going anywhere though.
I have a lot to say about Man United and Ten Hag. This has been an absolute painful season so far but feel we have to stick with Ten Hag. I think some of these things like Rashford going out and what not are being made a bigger deal than they actually are. The performances though have been dismal.
If we thought var talk was bad we’re in for a big surprise next week after the shitshow that was the Chelsea vs Tottenham game 😂 THEY CHECKED EVERY PLAY 👎🏼
