  1. Respect to this man! no other legendary player would stick around, it shows his character and will to win! No wonder he is England's greatest striker ever! He said when walking into the dressing room Pogba and Lingaard were dancing after a defeat..that shows the standard he set!

  2. No way Rooney is the age he says he is! I think it was about publicity when Everton said his age! His agent probably persuaded them to change his age to drum up excitement! He is obviously ten ten yrs older then they said! No way he is 36!! No way!!

  3. They're paying the price because of the previous owner, it's easy to put the guy in villainous ways, you could say he had the best intentions for derby but it failed, but the fact derby fans gloated at the fact they knew they had the "EFL on strings" to now want sympathy from fans because of what the previous owner did, nah, hope they stay down for a few years

  4. What a MANAGER! Kept derby County's heads Up after such a crushing blow WELL DONE! It is also a Credit to the players not wanting to move on. It will not hurt for some Top Premier League Players to take note "When the tough gets going the Tough keeping Going'', to quote a phase. Well Done Wayne. I see a Future Man united Manager in years to come!

  5. Cardiff City fan, been in a relegation scrap with Derby County most of the season. But I was rooting for Rooney to keep them up. What an effort! Fair play. Derby County is now my second club.

  6. I've only just noticed the streaks of white hair on Rooney's beard. Keep in mind that he's only 9 months younger than Lewis Hamilton. The lesson of the day is that managing a relegation-doomed, Administration-shot, mismanaged club is one of THE most stressful jobs out there. It's not Offshore Oil Rig stressful, but it's still brutal.

  7. tell you what Derby is one hell ov a club a REALLY hope they bounce back and get through what they're going thru yous really don't deserve this and av got to say av got nowt but resepct for Wayne Rooney, the job he's done there, atleast from the outside looking in and av been keeping an eye on Derby all season he's done amazing and a thought at one point despite everything he was going to keep yous up, yous have all been thru the mire please bounce back a mean yous are so bloody much better than playing teams like Sunderland thats for damned sure.

  8. Never management material, struggles with sentences and English language, hugely overrated don't waste your time and money Derby. He is hiding behind points deduction but doesn't actually have a clue. Cloughie must be shaking in his grave.

  9. Rick parry has too much power in the EFL and is only interested in the Premier League fixing everything with money ….. why not try working with teams and making sure owners are running the clubs right before it ends in disaster, punishing clubs after the owner has already ran it into the ground seems nonsensical

  10. god id love to see this man bring derby back to the premier league…
the scenes in 20yrs when rooney is united manager or even derby manager battling for that league title

  11. I like how Rooney speaks so softly and nicely. Quite different from what you expect from him, but he will get good respect for the way he soeaks

  12. Gave it everything, got the group together when the going got tough, stuck his neck out and made sure that the players gave a good account of themselves in spite of the circumstances. He’s been great and this as your first gig in management is quite an initiation. A young manager but Wayne is old school. Respect

  13. I expect them to come straight back, if not for the 21 points deduction they would have been comfortably mid table in the championship, he has done a sterling job under immense pressure, still at heart a boy who loves his football. Valuable experience being obtained all the time, taken a more traditional route in management.

  14. not a rooney or derby fan but the lads doing his c.v the world of good by being willing to ply his trade in the lower leagues! its not all about the top of the premier league theres life in other leagues as well .

  15. I feel sorry for Derby and its fans.

A great club with a great history. I know you are going through a bad time at the moment but the good times will come back.

Lots of love and respect from a Rangers fan. 💙🇬🇧👍
