  1. Saudi Arabia wont take any of their fellow Muslims from war torn Palestine, but will take footballers from England😂You wont get away with gambling their either Ivan.

  2. It's only a good move for the financial benefits, I doubt it will improve his game and it ends his short international career with England, I'll give him a year in Saudi before the boredom, competitive football and the lack of bookmakers.

  3. when Chelsea rings a player there brains get frighted. Especially when u know there is 3 players on the same level in your positions.. If your confident and positive and believe in your own talent, you will always believe you can get in the first team. For the sake of football we don't want to see amazing talent sitting on the bench.

  4. Only a good move because it's loads a money. Plus Toney must have understood that his chances of playing for the England are slim and must have thought "sod it", I'll take the cash.

  5. Every decision this guy makes confirms to me that he's an absolute moron. It's a great deal for Brentford, as much like Portugal and Ronaldo, Brentford are a far better side without him.

  6. Ivan Toney is a bang average player who gets a lot of media hype. He's close to 30 years of age. Much as i dislike saudi arabia, he's done well to potentially secure a move to one of its clubs and earn money beyond his wildest dreams.

I just hope he doesn't bet his salary all away.

  7. this is quite literally the worst thing career-wise he couldve done. hes already very well off and doesnt need that money, and had the potential to be one of the best forwards in the league. trying to come up with excuses defending this pathetic transfer is embarassing

  8. "It's a good move… football is a job… he has to think of securing his family". Spoken like a true plank 🙄
    1) He wants to play top level football and can't even secure a PL team so he moves to Saudi – a terrible and desperate move.
    2) Football is a vocation for the most passionate athletes, not just a 'job'. A true footy player will play for the team they support, not the cheque.
    3) He could secure his family on an Ipswich wage – no one needs £1M per month to live.

What we're watching here is 3 professional idiots trying to talk about football, while Toney is a known money grabber. let him go and fail. That's what greedy people deserve.

  9. Ivan Toney sort after striker according to who?
AC Milan were looking for a striker. So we're Dortmund. So were PSG, Roma, Atletico, Man U, Spurs and maybe Arsenal but no one choose Toney.
That doesn't sound like most sort after

  10. Of all the teams in the league in need of a striker..? Pathetic and unacceptable that we won't be able to see these players in their prime perform. Embarrassing

  11. This is an awful move. Competition breeds excellence. Tony essentially just retired from legitimate competition. Good for him money wise but at 28 years old…why would you deny yourself a shot at any major trophies? Unless you don’t believe you can do it??
