This Cross Is An AUTOMATIC GOAL 😲

Mo Salah, Bryan Mbeumo, and Bukayo Saka all love this cross, but what’s the secret? One of the most popular tactical moves in the Premier League, and this is why managers love it.

  1. Not much resources and chances to defend here. Both ways are dangerous. If you fall for it, the playrr insjde the box gets space, if you don't the player outside the box gets space to come close and shoot. Also crosses and these kinda chips inside the box can't be always won by defenders, and you can't defend it 100%, if the team does it consistently you have to know ithey'll score sooner or later. The defenders should be ultra attentive, sometimes even tbat doesn't help when the combimation is played out perfectly by the opposition

  2. Curve around de keeper so he can't commit, you don't even need to be good at header just touch it and will aim to goal which also make it problematic for a defender to properly clear it, even if you do an average crossing you have 2-3 offensive players that will be on on the box and can hit that ball

  3. It’s basically an in swinger , the pace and direction is already on the ball towards the goal all the attacker has to do in most instances is make contact.

  4. Traditional wingers usually are the "same foot" as the side they are on. But when you switch that and have a skilled player who can whip in a left footed in-swinger from the Right…. its just nasty. Yamal makes these into goals lately.

  5. That looks miserable to try and play for the defender, most of what they'd typically try to push the ball past the striker and to the outside will put that ball past your own keeper.

  6. It’s easy to defend these type of wingers. Just force them down the byline. Cover the strong foot cause typically they have a very weak opposite foot.

  7. a traditional cross down the flanks is closed down by one player to stop a cross. this one draws multiple players in to block a potential shot. much harder to defend an inswinger because the attacker is running & orientated directly the opposite way to the defender. Salah has been pulling it out twice a game
