Germany were lucky at 2002 WC. Most big teams fell out very soon or were upseted by minows. Argentina, france, portugal couldn't come out of the group. Spain, italy were upseted by Korea. The semi final line up shocked everyone bcoz even brazil were written off bcoz of the struggle to qualify for the world cup. Brazil were the best defeated the 2nd best team england. Even with the underwhelming squad they had, they were man for man, superior to all these teams.
They shouldn’t have needed Kahn to bail them out.
I said it before the final that we would lose the final because of a mistake by Kahn, I was a goalie by myself at this time and if you plaid as many games in a row on a level on your own (not that I ever did 🤣😂🤣😂😭) at some point will come that game where you will make a mistake and as it was mentioned in the video, we didn't have the team which could equalise a goalie mistake

First, Germany is always a contender, and 2002 was no exception.
They qualified as the fourth-ranked team in the world, their style of play was defensive, and yet they had a squad that would intimidate anyone.
Furthermore, during the qualifiers, they only lost one game, against England, and still qualified tied for first place with 17 points.
Why do they insist on presenting or trying to show things in a way that wasn't true? Germany didn't qualify solely because of Kahn, nor by luck.

There was also knowledge of Brazil stepping on Kahn's fingers and then later he spilled an error. Either way this is really poorly researched video that says a lot of incorrect information.
